It has a full-length zipper and snap closures to keep the wind out (Amazon doesn't have the snap closures over the zipper anymore). It runs a little large. It doesn't have a hood, which I like. My mother bought it for me last year, but I have plenty of coats and jackets. I put it away without even taking it out of the packaging and forgot about it.
