The shell is made of Carboflex fabric. It’s thick, flexible, and has a bit of stretch to it. The material itself sort of reminds me of seat belt fabric with a bit of stretch to it. Fieldsheer claims it’s almost as good as leather for abrasion resistance, and after feeling it, I would not doubt that claim.
