NWOT black-blue dress (Rickie Freeman for Teri Jon)

This black-and-blue floral cocktail dress is guaranteed to stun! It has never been worn. The brilliant color scheme is what first caught my eye when I spotted this dress at Neiman Marcus. The three-quarter bell sleeves are also gorgeous and add to the distinctiveness of this piece, which has darts in the front and back, as well as side seams. A zipper runs straight up the back, ending with a hook-and-eye closure. The dress has a soft black lining, while the surface is more satin-y. Be aware that the dress overall is slightly stiff and may be heavier than your other cocktail dresses. For that reason, this dress might not be appropriate for extremely hot weather. However, I think it would be ideal for a formal or semi-formal event in cool temperatures or where you expect AC. IMPORTANT: This piece was altered to make the skirt slightly more narrow.
