One-Of-A-Kind KiGi Couture designed kantha upcycled denim skirt. This skirt began as vintage style Edited denim skirt, then was upcycled with ruffle made from Kantha quilts. Kantha quilts are made from vintage Indian cotton sarees by stacking multiple layers of sarees and hand stitching which has been the custom for hundreds of years. Kantha has two meanings "rags or discarded cloth" and it also refers to Bangladeshi embroidery technique using a running stitch on layered fabrics to create quilts. The result is a beautiful, soft, flowy, sustainable garment. The skirt has a waist from 43" with stretch. The length of the skirt is 24".
