The bottom of the shoes are textured with some felt, see last picture.

@here4uandme these are an older style so no clue. traction maybe? I never really looked it up for why there is a felt material on the bottom of shoes.

@here4uandme after googling it it turns out there is no function to the felt other then lower import tax 🤷🏼♀️ rubber sole shoes have a hire import tax and if they have felt on them the import tax is less.
