Eye catching tones of fuchsia & hot pink—official color is ‘geranium’. These paperweight are made in Italy using the finest Alabaster of Volterra. Alabaster is a natural stone that was carved and worked by the Etruscans in the VII Century. Alabaster is composed of calcium sulphate (CaSO+ 2H2O), and its hardness is between two and three of the "Mohs Scale". Measures approximately 4 inches at widest and 3 1/2 inches from top to bottom of heart. Stands approximately 1 inch off table at highest point. In original box with original card.
