The exact age is unknown but it is believed to be anywhere between 30 and 50 plus years. The market is saturated with newly manufactured Handira but this pouf is made off a true Authentic and Vintage piece! It can take hours, even weeks of work to attach metal mirrored sequins (which are authentic elements of Handira throws) once the weaving is complete. These ornate pieces hold significant cultural meaning for the tribes.
