Moonstone Necklace

Moonstones are soooo moody, and this one is no exception. She didn't like me photographing her in the sunlight, which should have been no brainier; she's Moonstone after all. Anyway, she tolerated my pictures, but my goodness did she ever talk once I got her inside. This one's a beauty, and sure to bring love into even the hardest curmudgeons life. I'm crazy over the moon for this one. Really outstanding stones. Moonstone was the accepted birthstone for August babies from the 15th through 20th centuries; the designation was changed to Peridot in 1912. Also in 1912, the US designated Moonstone as the birthstone for June, along with Pearl and Alexandrite. Moonstone is also the alternative gift for the 13th wedding anniversary. The necklace is a mega dose of natural Moonstone with tons of Bali Silver thrown in for breathing room. The necklace length is 16 to 18" (adjustable).
