cubbiemolly @mayadouglas710 Welcome to Poshmark! To have a positive experience, please ignore those people asking you to send them pictures. They are scammers trying to lure you off Poshmark and phish for your personal info like CC#. They use fake emails saying they bought your item. Most are not living in Canada either. To stay safe and be covered by Poshmark protection, only use the official site/app. Happy sales!

mayadouglas710 @cubbiemolly thankyou for the help! i got an email by poshmark (dramatic @ open. telekom.rs) saying an order was payed for and how i need to send it off. is that how it’s done or am i being scammed?

cubbiemolly @mayadouglas710 yes you are. Firstly, all sales are done on the app..not by email. Once someone hits the “buy now” button, it immediately has a sold sign on it and Poshmark will instantly send you a Canada post label by email. You will also get a notification in the app.

cubbiemolly @mayadouglas710 plus those scammer accounts are hacked USA accounts and Poshmark doesn’t do cross border shipping at this time. Click on their name and you will see they are USA accounts. They keep coming back with new accounts once Poshmark catches them. They use accounts they stole from people like you and me. It’s really awful. If you stay on the app, Poshmark will protect you if anything goes wrong.

cubbiemolly I noticed it starting about 4 months ago and have been trying to help warn people since but it is endless. I love Poshmark but we must just be aware their are so many scammers on the internet and as long as you stay on the app, you’ll be safe.
