Vintage rare antique original religious last rites box, Oak, chalkware Mary holding dying Jesus Christ her son, behind the beautiful glass with details. You have a door at the bottom which would hold serving plate, spoon, close which the priest used. This was a permanent fixture and homes for house calls from the priest to a people who are sick or dying, delivering the sacrament. The Holy Name altar was also used for home devotions. This measures 23.5" length&13.5" Width. Absolutely Beautiful.
