smichalek @fairplay40 Great question! I had bought this used last year, and it came this way, so I’m assuming it just got a lot of rough use? It didn’t end up working for what I needed which is why I’m selling it. But I can tell you that I have another Marmot Precip rain jacket in a different color that I’ve had for about 13 years, and it’s held up wonderfully. None of the lining has peeled.

fairplay40 @smichalek Thanks for your reply. (Apologies for misspelling your name). I bought a used one yesterday, machine washed it on gentle/cold, and the lining flaked everywhere. Bummer!

smichalek @fairplay40 No worries, I didn’t even notice 😆 Oh no! That’s annoying. I don’t know why that could be. Either the previous owners took horrible care of these jackets or Marmot’s quality for this jacket has gone downhill 🤷‍♀️
