thank you. I have been sharing and following everyone that shares me since i started until recently. Now i feel like i need to go back and remove a lot of people because i have seen sooo many violations and some are with closets that are considered top 10% or those with HP's..thats confusing to me and others who have recently started with posh. However i have a great mentor @havenb1 who has helped me a lot and always keeps me up to date so things have been pretty easy so far. Thanks you for the clarification above.

@ereigle As you know, Posh allows Trading. But they warn us to be careful to avoid the deal not going as planned. Posh cannot help with Trade problems. When I joined Posh, I decided to not Trade at all! So it is a choice. No one should be pressuring anyone to Trade if they do not want ti do it. You Trade at your own risk. I do not want to risk it so all of my listings say: No Trades.

@ereigle Other Poshers have told me that Posh actually would rather we not Trade at all, especially if they are looking at us as future Party Co-Hosts and Suggested Users. Most of both, as I have noticed thus far, do not Trade at all.

But we have to respect Posh Rules first and foremost! 👏👏👏 If the Posher Sold violations before she fully understood the rules, that is understandable. We encounter that frequently. I know you can write to Posh Support to ask them to "remove" them which is actually "hide" the violations listed as Sold. Some of the people we have helped have had to do that. And appreciated the fact that we helped them clean out their closets. But it is the ones who blatantly keep violating the rules and get confrontational (only a few so far) even after they know all of the rules because we told them in intricate detail! No! We cannot help the repeat violators under any circumstances! It is what it is. We have to respect Posh Rules! 👍👍👍

@mstenacity I was just writing you about this listing when I got bounced out of this app! It happened earlier today. I hope I can finish this message before that happens again. The list above is pretty thorough. Some things we discovered can be sold too are: Cell phone covers, separate Charms, brand new makeup brushes, Hat boxes, Designer boxes plus dust bags, pajamas, and house shoes. Other items I am not sure about are as follows: Makeup holders, jewelry stands & holders, jewelry boxes, and makeup remover (since it is not technically actual makeup). Writing directly to Posh Support is always useful. We also ask some of our resident experts like @queenmumm @katz2 @pamelam @splendeur and @73v3n to verify info so we are telling you what is currently acceptable and not acceptable. 😊👍👍

Hey Marla! 😘 Everything you listed above is covered in my blog link at the top of my closet. Storage containers for makeup/jewelry that are not easily portable (such as jewelry rolls, jewelry bags and makeup bags) are NOT supported. The only liquid items currently allowed are sealed NWT lip gloss and mascara. No other liquids, creams or lotions can be sold. Also, feel free to let others know they can subscribe (for free) when updates to the Poshible list are made, as well as when I post new tips on the blog. And with that I never use a product without using a deposable wand(which I haven't uploaded any of those things. And I always sanitize any and everything. I'm a germaphobic..lol But serious. True, Marla - we do get a lot of guideline questions from established Poshers - especially when they host a party. Everyone wants to make sure their host picks comply with the rules. My article is a supplement to the guidelines posted by Posh (I always refer new users to HQ first), and is culled from numerous emails back and forth with HQ Support. It's a quick way to find what's been asked and confirmed dozens of times already. And I keep it updated with HQ's assistance. I also have a section that thoroughly explains counterfeit items, and areas of the TOS that aren't readily known by Poshers. 😊 Cheers!

@mstenacity I am still reading Brenda's blog. It clearly says no liquid foundation, only powder. And no jewelry holders that sit on a table or dresser. No Worries. Most of us have had to delete items at one time. If it is Sold, Posh will handle that when the time comes. All we can do is make sure our For Sale items are all in compliance. Last year, many copied one another. Your call. Yours could say: New Posher who wants 5,000 Followers by May (or whatever date you set). That way people know what your goal already is. Being up front like that is effective. As far as Blogs, I do not have one. Those are not mandatory. 😊😊😊

@marlanap yes it is a lot of gray area.lol. It's not really a cream per say. I just get a lot of free makeup to review and most of it I don't even use. Being a makeup freelancer and enthusiasts, I definitely get it though. I always sanitize either way. But the product is brand new and sealed. I did email them. Hopefully they will get back with me.

@jeanscenequeen Hi! As far as I have seen, sometimes Poshers will post their ratings in a listing. Other than that, that information is considered Personal and Confidential for the Buyer only. You can look at the Sold items too. Sometimes there is a mention of what the rating was. Other than that, I know of no other ways of knowing at this time.

@marlanap Just saw where someone got scammed with a fake purse. (It was a trade, which was taking a risk anyway. But before I blocked her, I looked around her closet & she has all of these LV purses marked authentic. Someone could still get scammed by her just buying. A rating system would sure help weed some of these jokers out.)

To me it's up to what you can handle. I think our (your) 😂 group is pretty responsible and a little less revolving than mine. The more people participating the more exposure there is. So if you can handle more -Great! As you mentioned everyone will unfortunately will not be able to participate everyday. ..my thoughts.. Waiting listing after the 40 (if you are able) maybe baby steps

@jasmerine29 Unless Posh has made more changes recently, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and restaurant guides are not considered items we can sell on Posh. In other words, to be Posh-Compliant, any items not approved for Sale on Posh should be deleted asap from all of our closets. The most recent Posh list is in one of the pics listed above. A few pieces of info need updating. But it is accurate for the most part. (-:

The items I just asked you about a few minutes ago, I asked because queenmumm's blog says that anything that fits very closely to your head that is a hair accessory should be NWT if listed in your closet. I know it can get technical sometimes. You can go look at her blog (link is listed at the top of her closet) to get all of the latest info as it relates to accessories. One more thing, try to Congratulate the Theme Party Hosts in advance which often leads to your getting Host Picks. Those, of course, help you in making more Sales. This is meant to hang in your car, not on your bags or key chains. I have never seen Car charms sold on Posh before. @marlanap Hey Marlana! So nice to hear from you! Yes, I did write to PM about the atomizer, and had it approved directly from them❤️ A car mirror charm would not be an approved item. My rule of thumb is that if you can't wear it or carry it, than it's not an approved item. An empty perfume atomizer falls under a similar category as a powder compact, except you can sell a powder compact that is filled; you cannot sell a perfume atomizer with perfume in it. I hope this helps! ❤️❤️❤️

So are tattoo strips. Yes, sometimes what they do and do not allow can get really confusing. When in doubt, we write to Posh Support. When you figure out how to delete those other 2, tag me again. @gioella79 Posh encourages us to be Compliant. On the other hand, they recently put out a memo about they do not insist we "vet" closets, but overall I think Vetting helps especially because as I said, some Members get really upset if they see something not Posh Compliant. Well, we all know that Sold items cannot be held against you. It is the For Sale Ones though that some Poshers really get upset about so that is why I am glad we are handling those right now. Awesome!

Only soft jewelry containers like pouches and rolls you can use for travel are accepted per Posh Rules. The hard and standing kind we keep at home are not in compliance with Posh Rules. I definitely know because I have a lovely leather jewelry box I wanted to sell probably back when I first joined and discovered I am not supposed to sell it on Posh. Hope this info is helpful to you. @renatap24 Please see the whole list above. Most new Poshers are not aware of everything that they can and cannot Post so I hope this helps. For instance, we are not supposed to be selling hair products or Panties without tags. All Panties have to be New With Tags.

@renatap24 Good question. Bathing suits, even used ones believe it or not are now Allowed without Tags. I have sold a used bathing suit and a brand new one. It is the Panties I know they will never allow without the tags. Hair like wigs and extensions are allowed with tags, Not sure about without. Mostly I see NWT with wigs and extension listings. It is liquid products (hair, etc.) that they do not allow.

@rmccouture I have the Poshmark Rules listed on our Member/Info listing, but I do not repeat it with each Sign Up List mainly to save time and everyone knows by then when they join. So I feel like all of that ground is covered. Thanks for helping us monitor it. Anyone who sees something should bring it to our attention. Sometimes even the P-C Poshers go off the rails for a minute. We just have to make sure we bring them back. (-:

I don't think that email is legit. It is way too extreme to flood Postmark with men's and kids items at once. It would be a really bad business move on Poshmark's part, especially with their focus on the Retail Portal. I think someone made it up. It's not on Poshmark's blog, fb page, or anywhere else but on that listing...

Well, I just checked her link (it didn't work, so I googled poshmark prohibited items) and there it was... I am shocked, and a bit dismayed, to be honest. I like the fact that this is a site for women's items, and I don't have to go through a bunch of men's or kids things. If Poshmark wants to make a platform to sell men's and kid's items, they should create a separate site. My opinion only...

As a matter of principle, I am not sharing men's or kids' items or following those closets. Btw, I'm glad you chose to do a separate closet for those....too many others aren't and their regular closets are now a mess :(

@queenmumm Happy Holidays. I need your assistance. Someone from Posh wrote me saying a Body Shapewear item I was selling was in violation of Posh Rules. But I thought they said we could sell used body shapewear and bras too. But the person wrote to me saying the body shapewear can only be new with tags. I am confused. Hey Marlana! Hope you are doing well! Apparently, they are giving shapewear a designation similar to underwear - it must be new with tags. Bodysuits that are clothing (eg. tops with a snap crotch worn over undergarments) should still be okay sold used. I will inquire after the holiday to see if that is now the case. I believe so. If any undergarment closely contacts "the nether region" it should definitely be sold new. Above the waist is ok. Slips are also ok. :)

@poshgalnycla See Comments Above about Mermaid Blankets. Our resident Posh authority @queenmumm says above they are not allowed so I recommend that you delete that listing to remain Posh-Compliant. In Share Groups, I do often check on items and make recommendations like this so I hope you understand. Posh is very strict. You can miss out on Host Picks, Hosting, and becoming an SU if they find something in your closet that is against Posh Rules. Just looking out for all members. 😊❤😊

Posh Rules say we should not sell home items like blankets and pillows. It is in their rules. In short, we have Members who do not want to share your closet as long as that item stays there. Posh rules say we should not be selling household items like blankets or pillows. The Mermaid Blanket is not clothing. Brenda @queenmumm explained above why the Mermaid Blanket should not be sold on Posh at this time. Other SASS Members have complained about it.
