The longer story: 1883 is the year that Lucchese was founded. Lucchese took an ordinary western boot and transformed it into a fashion statement with unique toes and materials. The boots have cushioned insoles and are full welt construction. A combination of quality comfort style, craftsmanship and artistry makes a Lucchese 1883 boot. Antique peanut brittle mad dog goat leather with embroidery and cord design on upper. Made in the USA. The boots are in very used condition. The only caveat is that there was a hole in one of the two soles, which I fixed. No rips or discoloration. For added protection, I layered the boot with top quality seal blubber. Enjoy!
