This train set is in good condition. I am not a train enthusiast so I have not tested this set. All the pieces appear to be in great working order with many still in the original packaging. The only piece that seems to need repair is the lighthouse. The top of the lighthouse needs to be glued to the base as the pieces connecting the two are cracked. The set includes many accessories to build a scene, 8 train cars, 2 transformers, wiring, manuals, and a fair number of curved and straight tracks. Some of the cars say Santa Fe on them so I assume some or all of these pieces are part of a Santa Fe set. This set will be securely boxed and shipped upon purchase. Buy with confidence.
