My father, guitarist Paul Hanson, was hired on to coach Michael J Fox to play guitar for Back to the Future in 1984. This was Paul’s rocker leather jacket all throughout the 80’s. It made it’s debut in the movie during the Pinheads rehearsal scene.
And this vintage jacket still looks good on the modern musician! Yuri Tolpin of Portland’s Ocean Age models it today. Plenty of life left, and what an amazing backstory. Size 36, Men’s Medium. 100% Premium leather, quilted lining, dry clean only.

@andrewstevens00 Looks like you're a fan of the movie! My dad is in the rehearsal scene playing guitar. I have a bunch of family photos with Michael from the 80's when I was a baby. Not sure where they all are, old photo album photos.

@bkaydetarr I have a few more questions about the jacket but I’m not sure how to message you on poshmark.

I was just thinking, maybe since this is a piece of movie memorabilia, you should sell this at auction to some sort of collector? Just a thought. :-)

@milksteak1 Can you elaborate on this? Where would I find a movie-collection auction?

@bkaydetarr I don’t know. :) I just know auctions exist. Thinking those large auctions like Sotheby’s. But there are tons of auction places and sites, just not sure if or which cater to this kind of thing. Sorry I’m not more helpful.

@ediglenn7786 I don’t, how would I get that? My father was in the film.

@alexclifft what do you mean?

alexclifft
@bkaydetarr would you trade this for anything from my shop
Dec 16Reply

bkaydetarr
@alexclifft I’m sorry- but I don’t think that’s going to work. I guess I need a certificate of authenticity- but I don’t know how to do that since it’s my Dad’s jacket- lol. I guess the jacket will just stay on the family.
