dmd4me @onesoonergirl hello I am so sorry to miss this. It does not have a crossbody strap but could absolutely be a cross body (it has the attachments on the side, you just need a strap). Also the bottom is sturdy once your stuff is in it, it is not super hard but not flimsy. I hope this helps - thank you!!
