This is a vintage Kuchi tribal bracelet from Afghanistan. This beauty is inlaid with a blue lapis lazuli composite stone. This kuchi piece is made with silver metal with brass accents. It has an ornate dimensional metal decorations in brass. It is nice and wide in the front but tapers to the back so that it is more comfortable to wear. A pattern of twisted wire and dots accents the edges and center of the piece. Lots of ornate detailed pattern on this one! Let your bohemian style fly free with this beauty!
Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.
***As with many of my Middle Eastern cuffs I was able to buy a pair. If you want one for each wrist, the other one might be listed too.
