Yes, it's a Jr. size. I think it would depend upon the size of the adult. I'm a middle-aged adult with a 36C top and it fit me at 5'5" (127lbs). The fabric has some stretch to it, although a little less stretch in the front because of the satin ribbon trim. I wear a Women's Small. Hope that helps. On a side note, as long as the item's description is accurate (and it is), Posh won't allow a return so please ask any other questions if you have some!
