tomderb @jensmr2spyder hi! you could purchase them at target usually or your local card shop. every card I sell will be in a penny sleeve and hard plastic top loader/case like you're referring to :) feel free to make offers on any cards I accept pretty much everything reasonable!

jensmr2spyder @tomderb thank you for the information. Idk much about baseball cards, I just know my Dad has some of the biggies, as he is 72yrs old and, collected as a child. idk which cards are the ones worth collecting. I was going to get him a big box of the 2023 tops but, didn't know if he'd get the Phillies cards you have here

jensmr2spyder @tomderb can, you help me out? Are the cards I liked ones that have the possibility of being valuable down the road someday? I know certain cards are more Collectable for some reason then others. He would know but, I don't. I just know the players that I like.

jensmr2spyder My father was really good friends with Franko as well, he used to stay at our house all the time. I have a pic with him. 😁. Harris that is. They were very close. He was really good friends with Joe Paterno (sp?) too. My father is a big business man who is very involved in the sports world. has its perks. I'll tell you a story

jensmr2spyder when he was a kid he collected baseball cards. Remember he's 72..so I suck at math but, back then big name baseball cards. he had shoe boxes and shoe boxes full. My gram told him he had to get rid of all but 1 box. And, she burned the rest. She didn't know back then how valuable they'd be but, he saved the big names..mickey mantle etc..

tomderb @jensmr2spyder that's awesome he sounds like a cool guy! so I can give you my opinion on the matter, I find it better to spend the money on specific cards you like for the player or team, rather than spending the money on a box and hope you get some, but you won't really know.. just luck of the draw, and inevitably end up with a bunch of "useless" cards to you.

tomderb @jensmr2spyder and as far as the value of cards goes, of course you have your stars and big name players that will usually always hold some kind of value, and you have your rookies and young players who have the speculation value, meaning they have a whole career ahead of them to do great things and people will sort of bet on that by assigning value to a certain player, these prices will also fluctuate more depending whether they are doing well or have a bad season.

tomderb @jensmr2spyder and also cards that are holographic, like this one here, or an "insert" card or a "Parallel", meaning they are different than the rest of the regular looking cards will always hold more valuable because they are way more limited and rare and harder to find! and I will say that the prices I have here are by no means set in stone I am very flexible with price and will usually accept any offer someone decides the card is worth to them!

jensmr2spyder @tomderb ok, thank you for all that information. I was looking to spend $5-10 a card...just looking for Phillies cards of current players. he will most likely pass his cards down to his grandkids I'm guessing idk but, I thought it would be a cool present
