Kantha quilts are handmade in India from recycled cotton saris and may have slight flaws and lost threads. Its fine to cut off any lose threads, there are enough rows of stitching. They are not padded or heavy like a quilt, more like 2 thin sheets sewn together with running stitches. Not actual fringe, it is printed on. One of a kind, handmade.
