Julie Anderson Demented Doll Head Clutch Bag

For more than three decades, artist Julie Anderson ran the famed Costume Salon boutique in Santa Fe, providing clothing and props for theatrical productions, movie shoots, music videos, and event planners. She was also a talented artist, whose mixed-media “demented doll head” bags, purses, and clutches gained a cult following (Italian Vogue once included them in a feature), and they remain collectible to this day. This is a great piece, featuring a variety of vintage jewelry pieces, and I’d love to pass it along to someone else to enjoy (the only reason I’m letting it go is because I seriously need to downsize my collections). Perfect for the lover of Goth, Steampunk, and Outsider Art aesthetics. Photos show size and condition, which remains excellent (I never carried but only displayed the bag). Intended as a clutch, but it also has loops inside through which you can attach a strap.
