Although the dress looks like it is two separate pieces, it is one continuous garment. The end of the bodice helps to create a curved hip and flatters an hourglass shape very well.

Do you happen to have a picture of you wearing it? The website pictures make it look like it’s a smooth transition from the bodice to the skirt (I realize it’s a one piece) but the picture of it on the hanger has it looking like the bottom of the bodice flairs more than original design.
