mickohl Hi-they don't stretch like gym leggings would as they are mainly cotton. They are stretchy as daywear leggings are (similar to gym but no real compression). From trying them on, I do know they are stretchy enough that the knees don't get baggy. They are great quality leggings. How much stretch are you looking for? I can try to describe better (it's hard to describe :-) )
