The Sakura or cherry blossom is Japan's favorite flower.
This women's yukata is a traditional garment worn during the hotter months. This design was created to symbolize springtime beauty in Japan. It features beautiful cherry blossom petals on a refined black background and is accented with gold shimmers that give off light as if it were daytime. The cotton fabric is very soft and lighter weight for those warmer days and nights when you don't want anything weighing you down.
Wear this gown while relaxing at home, like a bathrobe, or when heading out on the town. This women's yukata is made in Japan of 100% cotton with a shrink-resistant finish. Machine wash cold water for best results. The robe has the traditional butterfly sleeves. A matching belt or sash is included.
This yukata robe is available in sizes: Small and Medium.
Small, measures 54" in length and is designed to fit a woman 5' 4" to 5' 9" in height. The sleeve length is 13", the shoulder width is 23" and the girth is 42".
Medium, measures 56" in length and is designed to fit a woman 5' 6" to 6' in height. The sleeve length is 13", the shoulder width is 24" and the girth is 44".
Note: These kimono / Yukata are brand new and never worn. They arrive in the manufacturer's clear, glassine pouch. The manufacturer does not apply tags, beyond the material/care label.

This pattern is not sakura or cherry blossom. It is ume, plum blossom.

would the small be okay for someone who is 5'1? Looking for one ASAP but wouldn't want to need to alter it.

@adarkphoenix it would most likely be too long and would need to be altered. Sorry.
