Japanese 2 tea cup coffee 12‎ oz. Earthenware cups

Very unusual pair of hefty 12 oz. tea cup shape tea or coffee earthenware mugs. Gunmetal with black speckling banded with green and white porcelain insets. No chips or cracks, there is a glaze skip of white on one rim, see picture, this is not a chip.
