Machine wash." ***This coat has been washed once and air dried and handled it beautifully (I always wash new clothes before wearing) but has not been worn other than to step outside to try it's warmth = it is INCREDIBLY warm (too warm for me, in fact)! Excellent for cold northern temps. It is a bit "crinkly" sounding on the exterior due to recycled materials, but very soft/silky (lining) and puffy in the interior.***
