These sandals feature a wide center strap measuring 2.5" long and 9.5" wide with zig zag stitching, the signature Beguelin stick figure, and pewter tone round metal embellishments. The front strap is a half-inch in width, and 6.25" across. If you have narrow feet, this strap will likely be too wide, as it is suitable for someone with a wider toe spread. The heel strap is adjustable with five holes available for the pewter-tone buckle.There's a ridged rubber sole at the bottom. There is a leather pieced insole, leaving the toes to rest on a solid half-inch fabric platform. The footbed is 9.75 inches long. Then we get to the grand platform, covered in leather, and measuring 1/2 inch in front and 3.25 inches in back. This is on top of the lower platform, which measures a half-inch. So all in all, there's a magnificent 4- inch platform in back. Going to new heights, indeed!
