Henri Bendel jetsetter bag. Cleaning out my closet and no use. Light staining still in great shape. Just needs a little TLC (I.e: see Henri Bendel’s policy w wet wipes for cleaning instructions).

@chellebelle127 just overtime. Normal wear and tear

@chellebelle127 well you certainly must not have a pale pink one as I have used it as a gym bag for the past two years and it’s just from carrying to and from. Nothing spilled and simply not rust (rust is brown, btw!). Perhaps it’s the bright light that’s making it look harsher than it is? Unsure. Either way unless there is another question you’re asking that’s all I have to say here. Thanks!

@chellebelle127 as I’ve said, it’s literally just wear and tear there so is no staining. As you see it’s gradual discoloration which is normal with literally any other bag. Thanks!

Have you tried cleaning this bag yet?

Can we see pictures of the inside and back of the bag please? Is this the same bag that had the huge yellow stain on the back? Or is this a different one?

Not sure if wet wipes would get those stains off. I just purchased a HB backlash from posh & the seller hid the stains in the pictures so posh is letting me return. Just an FYI if you plan to sell this bag for $200, it’s best to show all the flaws and to be upfront and honest about it. Not trying to be rude or anything I just know a lot of people are getting frustrated with dishonesty from sellers.

@bro3 what kind of TLC fixes weird stains? Stickers?! Can you provide more photos?

Stains aside you’re asking for a price as if it’s new. If it was a gym bag does it smell? From the sweaty clothes and lockers??

FYI those stains only typically happen because the bag has gotten wet. Either rain or could be something with gym. Moisture does that. I have over 12 jetsetters and the only one that got wet a few times had this issue and it was a light blue. Learned my lesson and now I make sure to protect them better. I did manage to save my jetsetter and cleaned it. This bag can probably be fixed but I would only pay $60 or $75.

@vivster305 how did you ‘save yours’? I purchased one with stains similar to this (not as bad), and treated it with deep stain remover a trip thru the washing machine, and blue dawn, etc. The stains on mine are permanent. Perhaps you treated yours right away?

Hi, I just want to say that I have a few of the nylon jetsetters and they do discolor with normal use. Especially the light colors!
I've had really good luck using oxyclean.
Good luck! :)

Does it have the backpack straps? Photo of inside and back?

As I don't in know about those other things, that's as much as I'm happy to offer at the moment.

@vivster305 to get the stains out, did you have it dry cleaned? I have a blue bag and I love it so much, but same issue.

The light pink Jetsetter does that around the seams. I have the same bag and it’s doing the same thing. There’s nothing that will get it off thst I’ve found. It’s like the manufacturer’s glue or something.

@april_ryan Hello! Did oxyclean work for you? Did you have to presoak for a few hours?

@mominstilettos Hi! The oxyclean works pretty well. I didn’t presoak. Just spot treated. But, I have a jet setter backpack in this exact color with mild discoloration that I can still see some of the discoloration after cleaning. I doubt anyone else would notice it! Lol! But, I love my HB and want them pristine☺️

@dancebold did you wash your bag in washing machine? How did leather look like after that? I’m looking for one to buy and curious about cleaning.

You need to put a ton of photos of every inch of the product so we can see it then purchase it and know the true condition I’m interested but won’t pay unless there’s lots of photos and transparency
