wannthree @matthisen yes, it is 100% wool. Pit to pit is 23 1/2 and I’m not sure how to measure sleeve length but if I measure from shoulder seam to end of sleeve, it is 23 inches.

matthisen @wannthree thank you. Sleeve is too short. I am 25 inches from shoulder seam to sleeve tip (near the sleeve buttons)

mcornolds @wannthree Hi, the shoulder to shoulder measurement can be taken straight across from shoulder seam to seam. Question: can you feel the sleeve cuff to see how much fabric is remaining tucked under the finished cuff after it was altered? Sometimes you can feel the original fabric that has been folded under after it was altered to determine how much can be let back out.

wannthree @mcornolds If I measure straight across from shoulder to shoulder is 20 inches and there is 1 1/2 inches folded under sleeve. However, when I took it out, I noticed a tag in the pocket that states 40R. I have corrected the listing. My apologies for the error! It belonged to a dear friend and he thought it was 44 R.

mcornolds @wannthree The measurements are more consistent with a 44 for sure so I'm a little iffy with the tag reading 40 and the work needed on the sleeves to resize. I'm interested, so I'll dwell on it a bit and get back to you
