Harriet London Bloomingdale’s Young East Sider Shop Cotton Floral Maxi Dress XXS

This vintage dress is in excellent condition. It is very small. This is from the 1960s when people were smaller. The measurements are provided in the photographs. It is 15 inches pit to pit. The waist is 12 inches flat. The basic measurements are 30 inch bust 24 inch waist and a 36 hip. It is 55 inches long from the back of the neck to the hem. It has flutter sleeves and ruffles on the neckline. This beautiful cotton voile is in excellent condition with a long metal zipper down the back. It has a navy blue ground with pink and white florals and polkadots. This dress is really a collectors piece although it absolutely can be worn if you’re small enough to fit it. It also needs a slip underneath in my opinion, but you wear it anyway you want girl have fun. This very rare dress is a beautiful example of English dressmaking, especially for Bloomingdale’s East side shop, which was their youthful Department.
