Handmade Mahogany-Birch lap desk, stash box, jewelry, document wooden box.

Made by hand with mahogany and birch. Only hardware are brass hinges. Miter joints with corner splines. Very strong. Will last for generations! It can be used as a lap desk, a stash box, bill pay box, jewelry box or other uses. During an ice storm 26 years ago, the ancient trees at Lexington Cemetery fell and we brought some home. My bf at the time, made this for me. All made by hand. He was an expert woodworker and had his own woodworking shop. I’m downsizing and offering this up for sale. One of a kind. 12"-ish by 4"-ish. Heavy. Shelf in top back section. A unique piece that will last for generations. Great shape.
