For fitting clothing, compare the measurements in the listing to something you own.
How I measure:
Shoulder - from top of sleeve across to opposite, usually men's items
Chest/bust - taken at base of arm at side seam across the back.
Waist - taken at narrowest point on fitted item.
Sleeve - length of underarm seam down to bottom of cuff
Waistband - edge to edge at top of pants or skirt not the actual waist.
Rise - top of waistband down to leg seam on front.
Hip - at bottom of fly (if there is one) or approx 7''-8'' below waist at widest point side seam across.
Inseam - length of inside leg seam
Outseam - top edge to bottom of hem down side
Leg - across hem on wide leg or flare pants
Length - Top edge to hem center back, asymmetrical items will have the shortest and longest given.
I include the most used measurements but If you need additional measurements please ask.
