HERMES TRIM 31 I in BLACK BOX CALF EXCELLENT CONDITION PURCHASED FROM SOTHEBY'S

I bought this bag about 4 years ago from Sotheby's Auction House when they offered a sale on luxury items. I carried it a couple of times and always put it back in its dustbag after making sure it was clean. Trim I is often favored for its clean silhouette and timeless elegance. It’s the version Jackie O famously carried. This is the original Trim I with NO ZIPPER There is a tutorial on YouTube about Box Calf leather that is very informative. With age the leather acquires a sheen. The dye goes all the way through the leather which makes it age beautifully. Hermes used this leather a lot on its structured pieces like the Kelly Bag. This one is no longer made.
