HERMES Never Worn Vintage Classic Coquette “The Wooden Marine” Pink Carre 90 100% Silk Twill Scarf NEVER WORN - How often do you find a vintage piece never worn? May have lent or hair on it from storage. Fold lines present from how it was packaged at the Hermes store but was never worn post purchase! The "La Marine en Bois" (The Wooden Marine) motif was originally designed by the prolific Hermès artist Hugo Grygkar and was first issued in 1957. This design features a pink border nautical theme with four quadrants displaying various tall ships and sailing vessels flying flags of several different countries. A central diamond-shaped emblem depicts an anchor and dolphins, while tridents extend into the corners. Material: 100% silk twill. Dimensions: Typically measures approximately 90cm x 90cm (about 35 inches square). Features: Hand-rolled edges, a hallmark of authentic Hermès scarves.
