This Asian Theme Chunky Charm bracelet is a lovely piece of vintage costume jewelry.
The hang tag has HAR incised and stands for HARGO Creations (New York), founded by Joseph Heilbronner and Edith Levitt in 1955.
Heibronner was born in 1893 in Munich, Germany, became a U.S. citizen in 1948 and married Edith Levitt in 1952. The "HAR" mark was used beginning in 1955 to 1960's. Jewelry production stopped in 1968 when Joseph died.
This Charm Bracelet is a stylish and chunky piece of costume jewelry. This Asian/Oriental-inspired bracelet features dangle charms made of Plastic/ Lucite beads and gold tone metal charms on a gold tone metal link bracelet. The charms, and faux jade beads, all symbolize good luck, prosperity, balance, and longevity.
The gold and green color combination promotes a touch of elegance.
The bracelet has a hangtag containing the brand. The box clasp provides easy and secure closure for wear. Perfect for adding a unique and ethnic charm to any outfit.
Although this bracelet is costume, some pieces of HAR jewelry are among the most sought after by collectors.
Preowned in very good condition, given age. Beads have scuffed edges which buyer may be able to address, however, does not distract from the uniqueness and presence of this bracelet.
