Grog Ceramic Brown Cylindrical Lidded Trinket Caddy Canister Jar Art Pottery

This is a lidded ceramic jar which features a sandy and rough feel on the exterior in a grayish brown color. Likely made of stoneware with grog, which adds a gritty, rustic texture called "tooth". The interior has a bit of the gritty texture on the top but is smoother and an orangey/rust color. This item came from an estate of an owner whose ex-wife is a potter/ceramist.
