damaralph @dawna114 yes my love. It’s amazing to me how Posh has let this get so out of control. My last issue was with a boutique item. Took pics from every angle, inside out, sent the Posher EXACT measurements with the measuring tape. The jumpsuit didn’t fit her, she shreaded the back and side and Posh took her side “claiming” damage. I sent all my pics. She won.

damaralph She sent the jumpsuit back but now I need to spend money to get it fixed so I can give to a friend or family member. I can’t repost that piece. I’ve had the most amazing experiences on Posh, networked with amazing ladies such as yourself but there is always ingrates that don’t understand that we are all trying to help grow our businesses. I swear, lately I’ve become Posh Police so no one else gets burned! Lol!

workin4mygirls @damaralph that's terrible. I'm sorry that happened to you. I've had one or two incidents where " item wasn't as described " on sealed items where I literally copied the description directly from the box. Fortunately-I haven't had a return but better safe than sorry. I find it's the younger & relatively newer poshers that seem to have the issues I'm policing here right along with you !

workin4mygirls @damaralph it's so upsetting when I hear one of my PFFs have a problem sale. I'm like most of the others I've met here- this is a job for me, not a hobby. It's how I contribute to my family. For that reason I sadly had to make this post.

gorgeousnyc I am a relatively new seller and have devoted the majority of my days and my heart to being the best I can be and was devastated two days ago when a buyer claimed my descriptions AND detailed photos did not somehow document the condition of a pre-owned bag. I closed my closet and cried

gorgeousnyc I am trying to look beyond the awful decision from PM and am going to try to protect myself better since I try to be an honest person always. I was devastated. I hope to find a way to make signs like yours AND to record packaging (hard by myself..)how do you do it well?

workin4mygirls @gorgeousnyc I'm sorry that you had a bad experience, your closet is beautiful and so are your photos. I agree that it hard to take photos and/or video by yourself. I take a ton of photos including the shipping label in the photos/video to show that the item I'm recording is going to that person. From the second I start the shipping process until the sealed package is ready to go-every single step.

workin4mygirls @gorgeousnyc it's a required bother unfortunately. Try to keep the mindset that its business, not personal. I know that's hard when you are selling something that you owned and know it's condition when you sent it. Unfortunately as on any selling platform there will be both dishonest buyers and sellers. Most of the people I've encountered here are lovely honest people but you will always come across some bad apples.

workin4mygirls @gorgeousnyc I'm fine with other Poshers using my signs as long as I receive credit. So feel free to use them. I had people taking my photos of my items so I had to start watermarking them! 🤷‍♀️ That I'm not happy with!

workin4mygirls @nayleesmom You don't seem dumb at all- we all have to learn somehow. I was constantly asking questions from other sellers when I started-I still do sometimes! To join a tag team the number 1 thing I recommend is be sure recommend is o keep your closet compliant. I took a look and yours is fine. If you are unsure of what is & isn't allowed you can just google Items allowed on Poshmark. Also many closets have a listing stating was is.

workin4mygirls @nayleesmom I'll start you off by adding you my tag team. Many of the lovies on my team also have their own teams so when I tag you, check out some of the other members closets. You can also put "tag team" in the search box

workin4mygirls @nayleesmom you can search for follow games or you can join tag teams and they will tag you on games. I limit myself to 2 games per day(occasionally 3 if I'm featured, a member of my team has a special request or the game is brand new and needs a boost) Many other Poshers with teams will tag multiple times a day so once you're on a few teams you'll really have no problem finding games

rozebudzpetal This is great information! Thank you for the tips! I actually quit selling on ebay because of the constant dishonest returns that I ended up having to pay for and then the items coming back ruined. Ebay was really bad about never backing up the seller and taking the word of dishonest buyers. I hope I don’t start having that same experience on Poshmark. So, far it seems to be a lot better of a platform with some great women (& men😄).

workin4mygirls @rozebudzpetal I agree -it's getting harder & harder for stores on eBay. Now they require the seller to pay for the returns! That's insane! I already offer free shipping & I also have to pay to get my product back? I sell mostly skincare & some makeup there so I can't resell anything returned. I don't get many returns but usually just let them keep it & take the loss. I photograph everything there too

chanellover59 @damaralph this exact same thing happened with me on eBay over @$1500 22k gold necklace. I am 💯 rated seller since 1993 the buyer had like a 97 rating so I called & appeal they didn’t even hear it. Automatic his side.🤷‍♀️🙅‍♀️ I was totally scammed on that deal.!
