You said this is 26” wide. Is that at at waist level? Hem level? Or chest level? I need the pit to pit level. Also the hip level. I need to know if it’s A-Line. I need this info for EACH item.

I also need the length of the shoulder seam that curves around the shoulder. Most folks take a straight ruler or measuring tape but result is too short (shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line).I
Instead, ... (see next note)

Instead, lay garment flat. Lay a string or long shoe lace at underarm and carefully lay rest of string along the seam until you reach the folded fabric at top of shoulder.
Pinch or Mark the string & hold it against a yardstick. Write down the distance.
Flip garment over & repeat on other side. Add the two to get length of shoulder seam. I need a total of at least 22”.
To save a step, use a metal or cloth tape measure. Use it like the string! Turn the tape so only the edge touches the fabric.

Thanks for your thoughtfulness in removing this from my bundle. However I really need a loose fitting fuchsia top and this could work depending on where the shoulder seam and the cuff hits on my arm. Please see next note.

Ps is your family out of danger now?

@barbieliever It’s a great color, but wasn’t even close to the 22” mark that you’re needing. I really don’t think it would fit comfortably, but it’s completely your decision.

@barbieliever Doing a bit better, thanks so much for asking! 😊

@amethyst_gems Your earlier offer was amazingly generous, but without clarification on certain measurements I was afraid to accept.
Would you please be so kind as to flat-measure width of the fuchsia jms at the
hemline? I need to be sure this is an A-line.

Oops. The fuchsia is not jms. It’s Athletic.

I suppose you think I’m a pest, but I’d hate for you to have invested so much time in my bundle only to have me walk away with none. Would you kindly post 3 pix of the fuchsia top showing your tape measure laid on the garment?
1- place tape at hemline. If it slips it’s ok just so the high end of the tape shows the hem distance. That’ll show me if the A-line is big enough at waist.
2 & 3- Place tape on front and back of shoulder seam. If it’s not 22” I’d like to know
how close it came.😊
Hugs!

@barbieliever Okay, so you need 22” for it to fit comfortably and after a second round of measurements it’s still just 20”, so it doesn’t meet your 22” requirement.

@amethyst_gems thanks for sticking with me. I was hoping for a photo showing the measuring tape laid on the seam. In my experience measuring the curve vs straight from underarm to top of seam & doubling will gain 2-3”. Please, pretty please?, post a photo showing how you measured.
