What the back shows: It’s a thin wood backing board with a small triangular brass hanging hook—exactly like the kind used in 1950s–1970s Florentine gilt frames. There’s no maker sticker left, but the dark aged tone and hand-cut wood shape are consistent with mid-century Italian souvenir production (Florence, Italy).
