This vintage glassware was produced by Fenton Art Glass from 1962 to 1968 and is now a discontinued item. The compote features a distinctive thumbprint pattern, a ruffled and crimped edge, and a pedestal stem. The compote is also sometimes referred to as a candy or fruit dish.
When both a 365 and 395 UV light is shined on this piece there is a gorgeous orange/pink glow. (The first glow photo is 365 while the next two are 395.) This piece contains Cadmium and Selenium as pink glass often contained them to help create that shade of pink.
No damage, but the are a couple of places in the crimps of the ruffled edges where there are manufacturing flaws that look like "stringy" glass; seemingly only visible when searching for them. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
