Fenton Thumbprint Colonial Pink Ruffled Compote/Candy/Fruit Dish, UV Reactive

This vintage glassware was produced by Fenton Art Glass from 1962 to 1968 and is now a discontinued item. The compote features a distinctive thumbprint pattern, a ruffled and crimped edge, and a pedestal stem. The compote is also sometimes referred to as a candy or fruit dish. When both a 365 and 395 UV light is shined on this piece there is a gorgeous orange glow. The first glow photo is 365 while the next two are 395. This piece contains Cadmium or Selenium or both as pink glass often contained one or both of these to help create that shade of pink. No damage, but the are a couple of places in the crimps of the ruffled edges where there are manufacturing flaws. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
