Elegant Evening Doll with Black Dress and Accessories

This is a Princess Diana porcelain doll from The Ashton-Drake Galleries' "Portraits of Diana" collection. The doll is approximately 19 inches tall. It was designed by artist Titus Tomescu. The dress is a replica of the one worn by Princess Diana to a charitable event in Scotland, and a gala hosted by President Reagan in 1986. The doll is made of fine, hand-painted porcelain and is a collector's edition. The series was announced in October 1997, shortly after Diana's death
