As a young girl growing up in rural Romania, she was always seeking ways to be independent and free in a traditional society. Then her family immigrated to the US and she found the power in what she wore. “Clothes weren’t really important in Romania, but US high school was like a fashion show!” Having studied in New York and Paris, Franco moved to Los Angeles, where she began selling her clothes at a local flea market. Soon she partnered with Anthropologie. The details on this semi-sheer V-neck blouse are amazing! The color is a delicious tomato red with a white floral print that is reminiscent of vintage block printing. It has a soft V neck with three big fabric covered buttons on the placket. It has two pockets, a drawstring hood and a drawstring waist, which ties at the back. Tie tighter for a blouson style, or looser for a relaxed hoodie look. It's 90% Cotton and 10% Polyester, which is perfect for the summer or chic as a beach coverup. I have a paisley one listed as well. Condition: New, no tags, excellent.
