EUC VTG Peter Petrie Egg Seperator

Vintage pottery from the 1980s This is a unique egg separator pottery cup made by Fryeburg Maine studio potter Peter Petrie at his Birchstone studios. Peter calls this his eggstroardinary egg separator. This hand crafted ceramic egg separator has holes in the nostrils for the egg white to exit while retaining the egg yolk inside the cup. It has an old man with a big nose design with small ears on each side. Measures 3.75" tall by 3.75" wide and 4.5" deep at the nose. Has a natural clay face and nose with a glossy tan glaze on it which allows the detail in the face show nicely. Inside is glazed also. The underside has the Peter Petrie Designs mark.
