DOONEY & BOURKE VINTAGE R25 MEDIUM ESSEX AWL SHOULDER BAG IN NAVY & TAN

Vintage Dooney & Bourke All-Weather Leather® Medium Essex Bag style number R25 dates to late 1990's. Classic piece in navy pebbled leather with British Tan trim. Inside red, white & blue D&B ‘Made in USA’ sewn-in authenticity tag with serial number A4 344573. Bag is unlined and there are signs of age-related wear: some exterior scuffs on leather trim, dark spot on trim to the right of fob, light pen marks on suede interior. (Please see photos 13, 14, 15). Overall condition is good. All-Weather Leather® is the result of D&B’s process to ‘waterproof’ its leather, which allows water to roll off bag without damaging it, like water ‘rolls off a duck’s back,’ hence the emblem.
