These are NOT made with vinyl. They are dye sublimated. Unlike Vinyl, the process of sublimation printing literally embeds the ink into the fabric. There are no edges or an additional layer of plastic sitting on top of the oven mitt. Since the ink has embedded itself into the fabric it is virtually impossible for the design to fade or crack over time and numerous wash cycles.
