Closet Proceeds Going to Mom!!!

My elderly mom was recently involved in a devastating scam. This person built a fake friendship when my mom was at her most vulnerable. My mom lost her husband and had to sell her dream house because she couldn’t financially or physically afford to live there after the untimely death of my father that left her with barely any income to make ends meet. Feeling lonely and defeated this person prayed on her and went out of their way to make her feel important and wanted after my brothers disowned her because she couldn’t send them money anymore. I could only do so much living 7 hours away, so this person filled the emptiness se felt. My mom needed to buy another smaller home and car, but with the soaring inflation the proceeds from her house fell short of what needed. This person introduced her to crypto investments and promised her a return that would allow her to be able live comfortably. The investments started small to real her in. The investments gradually got bigger until she was unable to pull the money back and was held hostage until she paid taxes to this exchange which is another scam on top of the scam that was being played. She has lost everything and now can’t get a house or car. She has no place to go.
