lindseyjwiese@marjosbri I actually do not know what type of leather, the booklet that comes with it says “Chanel leather goods.” I would say it is a durable bovine leather and not like Chanel’s other bags that are super soft lamb leather than can’t get even a drop of rain on it.

lindseyjwiese@marjosbri the bag is 8.5 inches wide, 4.5 inches tall, and 2 inches deep (but filled, the depth expands to ~3 inches). The full chain drop is 23.5 inches (cross-body bag length). But yes, the chain strap can go shorter. The chain has toggles on both ends so that you can remove it and use the bag as a clutch OR loop it through and shorten to 18.5 inches (a long single shoulder bag length). I’m sure there are many more combos one could come up with for this versatile removable chain!
