This magnificent & unusual piece of MIDCENTURY ART POTTERY came from the wealthy Cromwell, Connecticut estate of MidCentury Big Band Leader, Hal McIntyre! Hal was stolen from Benny Goodman by Glenn Miller & was a founding member of the renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra. At Miller's encouragement, Hal founded his own band in 1941 playing major ballrooms throughout.the Is & entertaining the groups overseas. You can find his bio on Wikipedia. Everything Hal owned is FAB! 8"x6"x4" tall. Heavy so cannot be bundled due to weight. I've a family connection to this beautiful piece: Hal's great niece is married to my nephew!
