Browning Ammo‎ Pouch Leather

I am saying this is an ammo pouch because I can't see how it would hold a gun. The top row of clips would hold ammo but one is broken and others have been pushed down. It had the original tag on the back and I removed it. I don't think it's been used as it's very clean. Hopefully someone knows what it is !!
