1. Polishing Cloth: A cloth made of fine, brushed cotton or microfiber can be used on both lacquer and silver finishes. These plain, untreated cloths are perfect for cleaning up finger prints, residue, & various smudges from daily use. 2. Valve Oil: This oil is a special, high quality oil specifically design for instruments w/ piston valves. It’s incredibly important to not use any home remedies for ‘sticky’ valves as it might damage the instrument. A few drops of oil on clean valve will improve the action & safeguard the interior surface of the valve casing. 3. Slide Grease: Slide grease is to be used in small amounts on the tuning slides directly after cleaning your instrument. This provides good bearing surface & mobility for your tuning slides. 4. Snake Brush: The snake has a vinyl body w/ brushes on each end & used to clean the inner slides once taken apart and submerged in warm water & dish soap. After rinsing the instrument, it’s incredibly important to leave the instrument our to dry thoroughly. 5. Casing Brush: This brush has bristles that are cylindrically shaped, perfect for the 3 valve casings to your trumpet. 6. Mouthpiece Brush: A cleaning brush is essential to having a clean, healthy mouthpiece (& healthy player!) This is a conically-shaped bristle brush. 7.
